Life Journey of our Founder (Ms Madhvi Hans, Social Worker):
Madhvi was born and brought up in Hisar (Haryana) in 1976 in a very caring and loving family. She spent her life studying there right from schooling up to Post Graduation in English literature until the Year 2002. She was always inspired to become an English Lecturer to contribute in educating people. As teaching being a noble profession, her passion and desire were to make a mark in this profession and be a mentor to the students to draw her inner satisfaction.
Life Changing Event in Year 2002:
During a fatal Road Accident, fortune turned 360 degrees due to the Spinal Cord Injury. Life came to a sudden halt and this did not just paralyze her physically but virtually paralyzed her life & dreams. She was confined to bed for over 2 Years for her treatment. It was quite difficult for her to accept that she will have to be in the wheelchair with the associated restrictions in life. She was having very low morale and almost no hope from life.
Decision to not accept the Bad Fortune 2005-2008:
- Her strong willpower, love for life gave her the energy to fight all the odds. She came to bounce back in life after rehabilitation and physiotherapy programme at AIIMS & Indian Spinal Injuries Centre. She decided to start the life afresh and started with her passion of painting. This provided her the meaning and hope of life to the fullest. she participated in the painting exhibitions with her creations which beacame a driving force for her due to the immense response and inspiration.
- Life changed for better and she even started contributing at the family business from the Year 2009. She started assisting her brother with great didication and commitments. she thoroughly enjoyed this new role which yielded good results with a great success in business. The contribution in family business led a very positive impact on her life and boosted her confidence and belief in life.
- Another Positive life changing event happened when in the Year 2015 with the inspiration and encouragement from her friend, she started practising athletics (Discus Throw and Short Put). She represented India in the Year 2016 at Dubai and delivered good results just short of medal and came back with a resolution to win the medals in the next events. While she was working rigorously towards her goal, her Doctor advised her to leave the athletics as it could be fatal due to her health conditions in 2017. She was not ready to leave her passion for sports. She opted for the sport which suited her health condition. She started Air Pistol Shooting and secured the Gold Medal in Haryana State Para Shooting Championship in the Year 2017 and 2018 in the regional events. In her own words about her life…..
